Chess Camp for Beginners
June 19 - 23 - St. Peter; 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
This week long camp will focus on the basics of chess. Students will learn how each piece moves and the basic strategies for winning.

Chess Camp for Intermediate Players
June 19 - 23 - St. Peter; 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM
If your child has played chess before and wants to learn more about advanced strategies, then this camp is for you. Students will learn the importance of controlling areas of the chess board as well as how to maximize moves while minimizing loss.

Forensics Camps

Forensics is a science that is a lot like a game! It involves fining clues, piecing together a puzzle and solving the mysteries left behind at the crime scene.

HSPT Camp

The High School Placement Test camp will help prepare students for the test used by many area Catholic high schools for admissions, placement and scholarship decisions for incoming students. The camp is structured to address the various subject areas included on the test.

Math Camp
June 26 - 30 - Holy Cross; 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Math camp begins with the elements that the students have already seen in school such as graphing, exponents, unit multipliers and simple geometry. These tools are applied to explore some deeper concepts and some real-world application. The goal is to build a firm math foundation that anticipates high school coursework in math, science and computer technology.

Military Games Camp: Advanced
June 26-30 - Holy Cross; 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
For students who have completed Military Games Camp: Grand Strategy. This camp takes military gaming to a whole new level. Using the Avalon Hill Axis and Allies 1942, students will learn greater strategic cooperation between teams, budgeting and maneuvers. New units including heavy cruisers, artillery and anti-aircraft guns engage in shore bombardment, combined arms and strategic bombing raids. A larger map displays more of the great cities of the world. Understand the extent of the sacrifice the Greatest Generation endured to preserve the freedom we enjoy today.

Pirate Adventure

Explore the seas! Pirate Adventure will teach students the concepts of commerce and trade while competing to control pirate hideouts on mysterious Spooky Island. The platform of this program is based on the game CATAN Junior, a modified playing version of the classic game CATAN.

Students will learn the concepts of commerce and trade while competing to build the largest kingdom first. Settlers and City Builders will teach students the basic principles which grow economies and nations. The platform for learning will be based on the award winning CATAN game.

Showstoppers Theater

Showstoppers theater camps combine reading practice and acting in a fun, non-threatening atmosphere. Students will gain self-confidence while creating a purpose for reading out loud.

STEM Camps

Our STEM camps provide students with hands-on problem solving tasks that require creativity, higher level thinking and cooperative learning

This camp will work toward empowering students by improving organization, note taking and study skills. Students will have the opportunity to evaluate their study skills needs and look for ways to improve for the upcoming school year.
